TEHRAN – Foreign Minister Abbas Araguchi on Monday claimed he is confident that the country is not daring to attack Iran as it is “full preparations.”
The statements by the Chief Diplomat come when US Donald Trump, who retracted the 2015 nuclear deal during his first term in May 2018, threatened the possibility of an attack on Iran’s nuclear facility.
“I made an announcement to the media a few days ago and once again I am sure there is no war as we are fully prepared,” Araguchi said, speaking to a gathering of Iranian senior relief staff in Tehran.
He added: “If we are not ready, war will be imposed, and this preparation will exist between the armed forces and rescuers.”
The diplomat asserted that “Iran is now ready in all areas and is ready for all conditions.”
The Foreign Minister said the imagination of an attack on Iran cannot surpass anyone’s hearts, knowing the consequences.
“I’m sure no one will even consider attacking Iran, because they are aware of the consequences and know that there are a variety of sectors fully prepared, including the troops, rescuers, governments and people’s capabilities.
