Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, leader of the Islamic Revolution, received a group of commanders of the Iranian Air Force and the Air Defense for a meeting on Friday. The meeting pledged his allegiance to the revolution and the commemoration of the historic meeting of the commander of the Shah Air Force with Imam Khomeini on February 8, 1979.
The meeting took place in Josénie, Imam Khomeini, in downtown Tehran.
Commander Vahedi, Iran’s Air Force commander, submitted a report to the leader, saying, “We are ‘fully prepared for defense’ and “We have achieved 100% self-sufficiency.” I did.
At the beginning of his speech to the conference, the leader of the Islamic Revolution refused to discuss with Washington, saying it was not in the interest of the Iranian state.
“Negotiations with the US will not affect the resolution of a country’s problems. You need to understand this in the right way. If you are sitting at the table negotiating with that government, this or the problem will be resolved. You don’t think so. No, no. Negotiations with the US will not resolve the issue,” Ayatollah Khamenei said.
“A few years ago, Iran negotiated with us and reached a deal, but the Americans tore it,” he said, “We made a lot of concessions, but the Americans were the end of the bargain. We couldn’t maintain it.”
Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized that the solution to the problem is domestically and said that relying on domestic resources can solve the problem.
He continued to warn Washington, saying, “If the United States violates the security of the Iranian nation, we will retaliate without hesitation.”
