In a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Yerevan Khalil Shir Gholami in Tehran, the head of the Planning and Budget Organization emphasized the need to pursue the implementation of projects such as the third transmission line and the gas bartering agreement signed between the two countries.
Mr. Pourmohammadi called on the responsible authorities to make every effort to implement the projects set by both countries.
Completion of construction work on Armenia’s third transmission line, connection and completion of the Sisian-Kajalan-Agarak transport route and the Kajaran tunnel, gas barter exchange, and development of flight routes are among the issues that must be seriously considered by senior officials of both countries, Pourmohammadi stressed.
The Iranian envoy to Armenia said that the South Caucasus region is considered the most important strategic border area for Iran.
