Araghchi met with the Sultanate of Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Bad Hamad Al Busaidi in Muscat on Sunday.
During the meeting, the Iranian and Omani foreign ministers reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to expand ties and cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, especially in the economic and trade fields.
The two foreign ministers also discussed issues related to the regional situation, in particular the Zionist regime’s continued genocide in Gaza, and its continued warmongering and crimes against Lebanon and other countries in the region.
Mr. Araghchi also briefed on the latest developments related to the Iranian nuclear issue and appreciated Oman’s efforts and initiatives in this regard.
The Iranian minister arrived in Muscat on Sunday afternoon to lead a delegation and attend the annual general meeting to be held in the Omani capital on Monday.
It was previously announced that Araghchi would explain Iran’s position on bilateral relations and regional developments in talks with Omani officials and at an event in Muscat.
