Officials in the West Briance region said a civilian was killed and another was injured in a “target attack” in Kamensky Kter, a village near the border with the Chernichv region in northeastern Ukraine.
In the nearby Kursk region, local officials suffered hip and arm injuries from a drone strike, but Tula region officials reported that two civilians had been minor injuries from an air attack that damaged the roof of an apartment in the area’s capital.
Moscow mayor Sergei Sobianin said Russia’s air prevention repelled more than 40 drones targeting the Russian capital overnight and on Thursday morning, a day after about three dozen drones targeted the city.
According to Rosaviatia, the Russian aviation agency, flights have been temporarily suspended at all four Moscow airports. No damage or injuries have been reported in the Moscow region itself.
The chaos of air travel spills far from the Republic of Belyatia, about 4,400 kilometers (2,700 miles) east of Moscow.
Authorities say mobile Internet access was restricted in at least two regions targeting strikes. Similar restrictions were reported in previous drone attacks earlier this week.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said it defeated 105 Ukrainian drones overnight in 10 regions, including Moscow. The night before, he reported defeating 159 drones in nine regions.
The Ukrainian drone damaged the Bolkhovsky semiconductor device plant in the Oriol region during an overnight attack on Tuesday.
