A 32-year-old man was shot dead in a neighborhood in the northwest of Timbjarg, and two other men, ages 21 and 22, were injured in the incident, but is expected to survive. As of Monday morning, no arrests were made, Copenhagen police told the Danish broadcaster doctor, Xinhua News Agency reported.
Police said the shooting occurred in an area known as the Ruten in Timbierg, where local time (1700 GMT) was around 19:00 (1700 GMT). Police received several reports of the shooting and responded immediately to the scene. The injured two arrived at the hospital themselves for treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation and are actively searching for suspects. It remains unclear how the suspect left the area and whether the vehicle was used.
The motive for the shooting is still unknown. Despite the common occurrence of suspects, police have ensured that the public is free of signs of continued danger to local residents.
