A Yemeni source spoke with Al Mayaden to assure that attacks on the country will not be unanswered and warned that a US strike could trigger a new phase of Gaza’s support for Yemen.
Sources reaffirmed that “ships related to Israel will not pass through designated naval zones,” following the ban announced by the Yemeni army, and argued that Israeli occupation is under a true siege.
“Yemen will continue to support this, whatever the outcome,” the source further affirmed, explaining that the attack “follows Yemen’s stance and its effectiveness in countering Israeli entities and their supporters.”
The attack aims to protect Israeli occupation
A senior Yemeni source said the US attack on Yemen “is primarily aimed at protecting Israeli professional groups and “to “Yemen resolve and immobilize in the face of ongoing raids.”
He explained that the US-initiated attack on Yemen “represents a clear message from President Donald Trump’s administration that represents a clear message to the Zionist lobby.
Trump’s statement on Yemen’s “Hollow”
Sources commented on Trump’s call for Yemeni forces to halt operations soon, describing them as “hollow.”
Yemeni officials questioned the extent to which these statements influenced Yemen’s will. Yemen was “not threatened by the presence of four US aircraft airlines with dozens of destroyers and the US Air Force.”
Sources described the US actions as “tensty, aggressive and criminal,” claiming that when recent sanctions had not affected people, the US jumped into a military attack, saying, “In response, a firm response will be met accordingly.”
