Representatives of the World Health Assembly (WHA) voted in favor of the decision to allow flags of the UN’s non-member observer states to be raised at the headquarters and offices of the World Health Organization (WHO) and in favour of which Palestinian flags would be allowed to fly along with whose member state flags.
The motion approved by 95 votes was approved for four, four against the Israeli regime, the Czech Republic, and Germany, and 27 abstentions. It does not constitute the status of Observer State or Member States of the World Health Organization. ”
The discussion focused specifically on who raised the Palestinian flag as a non-member observer state and cited UN resolution 70/15 as the basis for publishing there.
The resolution was proposed by Algeria, Bahrain, Brunei Darsalam, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Iraq, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Namibia, Nicarag, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Churkiy.
