He made the remarks during a visit to the Passive Defense Organization on Saturday, where he was briefed on the organization’s latest achievements in the face of new threats and recent events, particularly during the 12-day war imposed by Israel on Iran.
Brigadier General Heydari highlighted the strategic status of the country’s passive defense organization in maintaining national readiness, promoting resilience and enhancing stability in dealing with crisis situations.
He said that it is necessary to continue and deepen effective operations, improve the level of passive defense services and develop cooperation between organizations, expressing hope that this process, by making use of scientific and modern methods, will lead to improving the country’s deterrence and immunity against future threats.
During the meeting, Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali, Head of Iran’s Passive Defense Organization, presented a comprehensive report on the latest administrative measures and achievements achieved in the field of infrastructure strategy and protection, including reducing the vulnerability of the country’s critical infrastructure, strengthening resilience in the face of crises, wisely managing emerging risks and threats, designing and implementing preventive plans and effective operational responses, and developing intersectoral coordination and synergies. Promote human capital in the field of passive defense, and through specialized training.
On June 13, the Zionist regime launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran, targeting military, nuclear, and residential areas for 12 consecutive days. Then, on June 22, the United States attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan, escalating the conflict.
