Security officials from Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have called to discuss security and peace in the Persian Gulf region.
Ali Akbar Ahmadian, leader of the Islamic Revolution and representative of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), had a telephone conversation with Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE national security adviser.
Iranian officials thanked the UAE for their stance on condemning the recent attack on Iran by the Zionist regime. They discussed the most important regional issues, the aggressive actions of the US and the Zionist regime, and relations between the two countries.
The SNSC Director told Emirati’s counterparts: “The safety of the Persian Gulf and the interconnected security of all members requires regional countries to participate. “If one country’s security is faced with external threats, it challenges the entire region.”
The Ahmadian also highlighted the expansion of Iran’s principled policies and relations with neighbors.
Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahya also mentioned Iran’s position in the region, saying, “It is necessary to ensure the safety of the region by all countries in this region. Disrupting the security of one country will have a negative impact on other countries in this region.”
The United Arab Emirates also emphasized that his country is always supporting dialogue to solve all the challenges.
