In his message of sadness about the death of Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of Catholics around the world, President Pezeschkian expressed sadness to all Catholic Christians around the world and to the followers of the Vatican Catholic Church.
Among the highlights of his spiritual life and leadership are the humanitarian stance he had adopted on inhumane behavior in the world, particularly the candid and condemnation of the Israeli regime’s war of massacre in Gaza, and his demands to keep the names of innocent Palestinian women and children alive forever, recalls for all innocent minds, everyone in Awaik.
He went on to say, “On behalf of the Iranian nation, he was always a pioneer in establishing global peace and security, dialogue and solidarity between religions. “I respect his name and memory, and let the Almighty God give eternal peace to the soul of his religious leader.”
