Pezeshkian made his remarks on Sunday during a meeting with senior officials to consider Iran’s relationship with Armenia and Belarus.
According to the president’s official website, the discussion focused on potential cooperation in key sectors such as energy, transportation, trade, investment, healthcare, environment, science, culture and tourism.
Authorities identified major challenges and opportunities for cooperation and discussed strategies to address them. A recent agreement between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan on a transport corridor has also been considered, with an emphasis on protecting Iran’s national interests.
The conference further reviewed future cooperation agreements and memorandums between Iran and Armenia, Iran and Belarus, and aimed for timely implementation.
Pezeschkian reiterated Iran’s commitment to expanding regional cooperation and strengthening relations with neighbouring countries through constructive involvement and mutual benefits.
