“The countries that advocate for human rights and civilization are killing innocent people with bombs and missiles, but still talk about peace, human rights and freedom,” Pezeshkian recorded Red Crescent Week in a speech in Tehran on Monday.
He added that the global community remains silent in the face of such tragedy.
“The world is watching this, but it remains quiet. The United Nations and other so-called rights advocates still support the perpetrators who are testifying to these crimes,” Peshshkian said.
“In today’s world, it’s clear who will help innocent people and who will bomb them,” he continued.
Insisting on the need for compassion, he emphasized that Muslims should help others regardless of race, colour or belief.
“Red Crescent acts on this principle and works to save lives during disasters and emergencies,” the Iranian president said.
“We all have to join hands to eliminate the suffering of our nation and around the world and to support those in need,” he said.
