Speaking to a group of Iranian expatriates in Beijing on Tuesday, the president highlighted the constructive nature of the negotiations, referring to productive discussions and exchanges of views that took place during his visit to China.
He said, “We had good dialogue and agreements, so it’s time to put these contracts into action.” He said it is the responsibility of experts in various fields, science, industry and commerce to ensure that the agreement does not remain unconfirmed.
Pezeshkian noted that interactions with other Iranian countries, particularly their neighbors and allies, have been significantly improved, creating a more fostering environment for collaboration.
He emphasized that Iran and China are heirs to two ancient, glorious civilizations, and that it is unacceptable to fall behind the new nation in terms of progress. “If we go back to our roots and work together and rely on history, science, culture and civilization, we can make our nation flourish,” the president said.
Pezeschkian also emphasized the need to engage with other countries and remain informed of global progress. He explained that without such interactions, growth opportunities are limited. He encouraged Iranian expatriates to become accustomed to global outcomes.
In response to regional tensions, Pezeshkian criticised the Israeli regime’s aggressive actions, attributed the atrocities to technical support and sophisticated equipment provided by the United States and its western allies.
