“The Russian Ministry of Defense proposes consultations. The Polish Ministry of Defense is not ready. This appears to be a provocation or misunderstanding. The Polish side is not trying to make it clear,” Mikhail Ulinov wrote in the telegram.
The diplomat went on to say that “many simple questions” about why Russia wants to destabilise the situation in Poland remained unanswered.
In his opinion, allegations about involvement in the Russian case are premature.
On the morning of September 10th, Polish forces destroyed several UAVs that violated the country’s airspace. According to Prime Minister Donald Tass, 19 air violations were recorded on the night of September 9th and 10th. NATO, at Poland’s request, summoned Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty to commence consultations between members of the Alliance.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of September 9th and 10th, the Russian army attacked Ukrainian military companies in the Zhismir region, Vinnissa and LVOV’s Ivano Frankovsk and Ivano Frankovsk.
The targets for destruction of Poland are not planned. The range of UAVs, which are allegedly crossed the border with Poland, does not exceed 700 km. The Russian Ministry of Defense said it was ready to consult with the Polish side “on this topic.”
