At a ceremony on Tuesday at the monument to martial scientists in the Faculty of Nuclear Engineering at Shahid Behashti University in Tehran, President Pezeshkian criticized the self-proclaimed champions of democracy, human rights and peace, declaring their claims as mere facades.
He emphasized that those respected at the monument dedicated their lives to serving the Iranian people, protecting the nation from unfair attacks, and ultimately becoming victims of the actions of the Israeli regime.
Reflecting on his personal connections with the honorable scientist, Pezeschkian said, “These individuals had done nothing wrong and did nothing other than gain their resolve to equip their country with advanced technology.”
In commemoration of the memory of the country’s martyrs in science and technology, the President expressed his hope that young people will continue their legacy by force and strive for the country’s independence and freedom.
He further condemned the aggressive actions of the Israeli regime, fully supported by the US and European countries.
Pezeshkian said that Israel’s actions in Gaza were shamed, saying, “The Israelis are invaders who enjoy full support from the United States. They have platforms, money, power and power. Today, people are locked in hunger, blocking access to water, medicine, bread and food.
