After meeting with the President of Armenia and the Prime Minister and holding a meeting of high-ranking delegations between the two countries, Pezeskian set out for Belarus’ capital Minsk as the next destination on his regional tour.
According to the scheduled programme, Pezeshkian will meet and hold discussions with Belarus’ Parliament President and Iranians living in the country.
Additionally, several memorandums of understanding will be signed between the two countries.
Up to 10 cooperative documents have been signed at a ceremony in the political, social, cultural, tourism, industry, education, roads, arts and health sectors at a ceremony in Yerevan on Tuesday in Iranian President Maud Pezeshkian and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
A joint statement was also signed between the Iranian president and the Prime Minister of Armenia.
Pezeskian arrived in Armenian capital Belarus on Monday with the head of a high-level delegation, marking the first stop on an official trip to the neighbouring country.
