During his conversation with reporters, President Trump was asked if he was planning a meeting related to concerns about a possible nuclear test. In response, the president said the United States would conduct such tests because other countries were conducting them. He also emphasized that the United States has more nuclear weapons than any other country.
He also reiterated that the United States remains the leading nuclear power, followed by Russia, with China far behind in third place. At the same time, President Trump pointed out that the Chinese government could reach Washington’s level within four to five years. According to him, he advocates denuclearization.
Asked how soon tests would be available, the US president said: “Pretty soon.”
