According to Al Jazeera, Hamas said in a statement that Netanyahu’s threats and statements about postponing the reopening of the Rafah border and reducing the entry of humanitarian aid reflect the fascist cabinet’s policy of punishing the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and manipulating the humanitarian situation for political purposes.
The statement added that some of the bodies of Israeli prisoners of war were buried in tunnels destroyed by Israeli forces, while others remained under the rubble of bombed buildings, so the return could take some time.
Hamas has already handed over bodies to the Red Cross, but stressed that special equipment is needed to accommodate the remaining bodies.
The movement reaffirmed its commitment to the ceasefire agreement and the handover of all remaining bodies, while accusing Prime Minister Netanyahu of delaying and failing to comply with the agreement.
