The report entitled “Efforts for a Better Living for People: Practical and Theoretical Innovations in Integrating and Extending the Achievement of Poverty Relief” was released on Friday by Xinhua Institute, the national high-level think tank of the Xinhua Congress.
The report summarises these basic guiding principles into five important aspects, including the Communist Party of China’s strong leadership as a fundamental assurance. Put people first as the ultimate pursuit of value. Collaborative efforts as a unique feature. Independence and self-reinforcement as a basic principle. Gradual progress as an important strategy.
The report states that the theoretical framework supporting China’s poverty reduction governance is continuously enriched, and its methodological pathway has been steadily improved over the years of practical exploration and empirical verification, including the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation strategies and effective integration of the expansion of nutrition mitigation performance.
“This theoretical system not only lays deeply in China’s national context, but also draws from the broader human experience and wisdom in poverty reduction, bringing local insights to globally relevant values.”
According to the report, the system reviews multiple development paths and provides a replicable, scalable, and globally transferable governance solution, especially for developing countries.
