An international solidarity march occurred on Sunday to cross the Rafa border as part of a campaign to end the blockade of Israeli enclaves and demand a halt of the ongoing war, the New Arab reported.
Thousands of participants from 32 countries are participating in a campaign that provides much-needed humanitarian assistance and is trying to demonstrate global support to Palestinians in Gaza.
The fleet will gather in Cairo on Thursday before heading to the border city of Alish in northeastern Egypt.
From there, participants plan to march on foot from Global March to Rafah Crossing, where protest tents will be set up. It is unclear whether Egyptian authorities, who are highly suspicious of the demonstrations, will allow the march to proceed.
The Union includes representatives of most European, North America, South America, and South and South America countries in its global mobilization show over Palestinian causes.
