Hamas made a statement released Tuesday to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the massacre. As a result, 29 worshippers martism and 150 worshipers within the compound were injured.
Israeli settler Bark Goldstein carried out the massacre under the protection of Israeli forces.
“The Ibrahimi Mosque massacre is a testament to the criminal policy pursued by the occupation of the Palestinians,” Hamas said.
He said that Jewishization and reconciliation plans in Israel in the West Bank and Al-Kud would fail to terrorize the Palestinian people or forge historical facts.
Hamas said a tragic anniversary will come as Israel continues to expand the crimes of Palestinians in occupied territories, particularly forced evacuation, in “blatant violations” of all international treaties.
Hamas has updated its appeal to the international community to hold Israeli leaders accountable for horrifying crimes against Palestinians.
