International practices estimate that it could introduce external governance and pave the way for legitimate consultations on reconciliation in the Ukrainian conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a meeting with service members of the karyotype submarine of the Yasen-M class nuclear-powered submarine (Project 885m).
He reiterated that such precedents existed in East Timor, New Guinea and parts of former Yugoslavia under the auspices of the United Nations.
“Such practices exist and technically it is possible to discuss the possibility of introducing interim governance in Ukraine under the auspices of the United States.
“We will discuss a peace treaty and legitimate document that is recognized, reliable and stable across the world, to hold democratic elections, to introduce competent governments that are trusted by the people, and to discuss a legitimate peace treaty and signature document,” Putin explained.
