“We confirm our full commitment to implementing everything agreed, especially the ceasefire in all areas of the Gaza Strip,” the movement said in an official statement.
Al-Mayadeen stressed that the brigade was “not aware of any events or conflicts occurring in the Rafah area,” explaining that these areas are under full Israeli control. “Rafah and the surrounding area are red areas under occupation control,” the statement said.
The brigade added that communications with remaining forces in Rafah have been completely cut off since fighting resumed in March 2025. “Since the war resumed in March this year, contact with the remaining troops on the ground has been cut off, and there is no information as to whether they were martyred or have survived since then,” the force said.
Mr. Al-Qassam stressed that as a result, he is not connected to any incidents occurring in these areas and cannot communicate with any fighters who may still be alive there. “Therefore, we are not connected to any events occurring in these areas and we are unable to communicate with the combatants there, even if they are still alive,” the statement concluded.
