TEHRAN – A loan exhibition titled “Land of Tenderness” featuring 151 historical artifacts from Tehran’s prominent museums has officially opened at the Sichuan University Museum in Chengdu, China.
The exhibition opened on Saturday with the aim of promoting cultural and artistic exchanges and strengthening cultural diplomacy between Iran and China.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Parham Janfeshan, Advisor to the Iranian Minister of Tourism and Acting Supervisor of Tourism Service Evaluation, as well as numerous Chinese cultural figures and the Governor of Sichuan Province.
“151 historical works collected from museums such as the Reza Abbasi Museum, the Glassware and Ceramics Museum, the Carpet Museum, the National Museum of Fine Arts, and the Moghadam Museum will be exhibited for the first time at the Sichuan University Museum in Chengdu,” said Jiang Feshan. said at the ceremony. .
He added that the exhibition was organized with the approval of Seyed Reza Salehi-Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and was held with the support of Ali Darabi, Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage. Janekhshan said that after the screening in Chengdu, Land of Kindness will continue its exhibition by touring museums in Guangzhou and Nanjing.

He highlighted the upcoming mutual exhibitions to be held in Iran as a symbol of friendship and cooperation, and stressed the importance of deepening the cultural ties between the two countries.
Land of Kindness celebrates the rich heritage of both countries and represents a step towards strengthening cultural relations between the two countries through artistic and historical exchanges.
The selected items span a remarkable historical range, from the 3rd millennium BC to the late Islamic period. They include metal, ceramic and glass objects, textiles and carpets, reflecting Iran’s rich and diverse cultural heritage.
