Addressing more than 74,000 Scouts who gathered in memory of the late Hezbollah Secretary-General Said Hassan Nasrallah at the “Sayed Generations” ceremony at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut, he stressed: “You are gathered together in one of the purest scenes. Al-Mahdi Scouts is a guiding light for young people towards the best educational model.”
Qasem said that despite all the difficulties, there is still hope for a good future, and praised the al-Mahdi reconnaissance squad for resolutely walking the line of resistance, Al-Manar reported.
“Resistance here refers to educational, cultural, moral and political ideals. Resistance means spiritual discipline, fighting the enemy, faith, determination, steadfastness, dignity and independence.”
“We see in you the light, hope and sacrifice, serve society based on integrity and see the growth of youth,” the Hezbollah leader addressed al-Mahdi scouts.
Sheikh Kasem concluded his speech with advice for Scouters. “To have sincere faith in God, be faithful to one’s parents, pursue religion and scholarship, and become a member of the soldiers of Imam Mahdi (AS).”
