TEHRAN – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has emphasized the importance of resistance to oppression as one of the important legacies of the Islamic Revolution.
In a meeting on Monday with the chairman and members of the Islamic Development Coordination Council, held alongside the 46th Anniversary Headquarters of the Victory of the Islamic Revolution, President Pezeshkian emphasized the sacrifices made since the victory of the Islamic Revolution, saying: Ta. martyrs and victims of terrorism. Our enemies have repeatedly targeted our leaders, elites, and celebrities in an effort to undermine this revolution. ”
The President also expressed condolences over the martyrdom of judicial judges Ali Rajini and Mohammad Mokhiseh, saying their deaths are further evidence of the Islamic Republic’s enduring fight against terrorism.
“These sacrifices demonstrate that Iran and this revolution have consistently been victims of terrorism. The atrocities committed by the Zionist regime and its supporters against women and children in Gaza are clearly This is an example of terrorism. But ironically, they are accusing us of supporting terrorism,” Pezeshkian said.
The President also paid tribute to the people of Gaza, who recently achieved an important victory against the Zionist regime. “We celebrate the victories of the resilient peoples of Gaza and Palestine, who faced oppression with dignity and courage and achieved remarkable results. Their resilience will inspire other countries to challenge terrorism. “It’s a lesson in what to do,” he said.
The president emphasized the need for unity and inclusiveness within Iran and called on officials to avoid sowing divisions. “All citizens must feel a sense of ownership towards their homeland. People must not be separated based on baseless pretexts. Piety should be our first criterion, and more Pious people should be considered more honorable,” he said.
The president also called for a results-based approach to governance and emphasized efforts to include locals and Sunnis in key positions, including in Sistan, Baluchestan, and Kurdistan provinces.
Mohammad Hossein Mussapour, Chairman of the Islamic Development Coordination Council, opened the meeting by outlining the Council’s plans for the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. He will use this opportunity to promote innovation, engage young people in analytical discussions, promote the achievements of the revolution, and organize events focused on unity during the Fajr Decade celebrations. He highlighted several initiatives aimed at celebrating.
