Tasnim said the warning was issued during a two-day naval exercise named after Mohammad Nazeri, an elite Revolutionary Guard naval special forces commander who was martyred in 2016.
The ongoing wargame covers the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman, the Naze’at Islands of Abu Musa, Greater Tunbu, Lesser Tunbu and Siri.
According to reports from the exercise, Revolutionary Guard naval units sent a clear message to American warships in the area.
A range of advanced air defense missile systems, including Nabab, Majid and Misak, have been used in electronic warfare situations.
The homegrown system used artificial intelligence to detect and attack air and sea targets with high precision.
This wargame is designed to showcase the combat capabilities of the IRGC Navy and the performance of new offensive and defensive systems in missile, drone, surveillance, and AI-based tracking operations.
Organizers said the exercise conveyed a message of peace and friendship to neighboring countries, while also providing a clear warning and firm response to enemies, demonstrating that Iran’s path of resistance and deterrence continues in full force.
