The Tehran-Damavand Philharmonic Orchestra, directed and directed by Majid Khatami, will be presenting its first performance of the New Year, entitled “Baroque Night” at Rudakijal, Tehran on April 11th.
The concert features works by German composer and musician Johann Sebastian Bach, Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, English composer for Baroque Henry Purcell, German Bricisch Baroque composer George Frider Handel, Italian priest and composer Gregorio Alegri.
Majid Hatami also serves as a performance violin and vocal soloist. He is joined by Ahmad Razabi (piano soloist), Mahyarhoseni (concertmaster), violin soloist Faridfai, Aminsanai and Bhumilani from Parnia.
Damavand Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir was founded in 2018 and has since held numerous performances in a variety of genres. Among their other notable activities is the choir collaboration with the Iranian national music orchestra.
