German military personnel are considered directly involved in planning and implementing combat operations against Russia if Ukraine employs Taurus long-range missiles, and Moscow will respond decisively in such a scenario, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at the briefing.
She also said Germany’s support in the production of long-range systems in Ukraine could hide plans to localize Taurus missile rallies at Ukraine’s defense industrial facilities, Tass reported.
“In November 2024, President Vladimir Putin clearly outlined Russia’s position on the decision by Western countries to allow long-distance systems to be used on Russian territory, which remains unchanged.
“If there is further escalation, we will respond decisively and adjust it,” she added.
