According to Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic guidance, Russian Minister of Culture, Olga Libimova arrived in Tehran on the morning of Tuesday, June 10th, and participated in Iran’s Russian Culture Week.
Livimova is accompanied by several high-ranking cultural officials from the Russian Federation. During her stay, she will hold bilateral and cultural consultations with Iranian authorities.
Her visit marks a new stage of cultural exchange between Tehran and Moscow, focusing on strengthening relationships between arts, heritage and creative industries.
According to the Russian Ministry of Culture, Iran will be holding the Russian Cultural Festival in Tehran and Isfahan from June 10th to 15th, 2025.
The festival is a collaborative effort between the Russian Ministry of Culture, the Iranian Ministry of Culture, and the Islamic leadership.
The event is part of a broader effort to expand cultural and cinematic cooperation between Iran and Russia, including participation at the cultural pinnacle.
