According to the Yemeni Al-Masirah TV English website, sources from the Yemeni Civil Defense Agency have announced that the Hazes Power Plant, located in the Sanhan district, south of Sanaa, has been targeted. A major plant power plant in a poor country.
The report added that firefighters were dispatched to the area to work to contain fires caused by the attack.
The director of the area’s electricity producers also said they are working with civil defense agencies to investigate the damage caused by the attack.
Previously, Arab media reported that two explosions were heard in Sanaa.
Hizam al-Assad, a member of the Politburo of Ansarlah, believed that these explosions were the result of the attacks of the Zionist Israeli regime, adding that “criminals and defeated enemies are targeting civilian service centres only.”
