During his visit to Isfahan’s pavilion at the 18th Tehran International Tourism and Related Industry Exhibition, Al Anji praised Isfahan’s rich cultural and artistic heritage and the hospitality of his people.
The envoy stated: “Iran, especially Isfahan, has a huge tourism capacity that can attract global tourists. Due to its historical background, unique architecture and unique cultural atmosphere, the city is always the most popular in the region. It’s one of the most important tourist destinations.”
Al-Anzi further emphasized that Isfahan has long been recognized as a symbol of Iranian civilization and culture. Its presence at the Tehran Tourism Exhibition highlights its important role in the growth of the industry. “Many international tourists consider Isfahan to be one of Iran’s most valuable destinations,” he added.
Saudi Arabia is focused on tourism development
The ambassador also pointed out that it will focus on expanding Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector and strengthening regional interactions. He said, “In recent years, Saudi Arabia has focused on developing its tourism sector and strengthening its involvement with its neighbours, making it one of its top priorities.”
However, he acknowledged that despite the widespread possibilities of tourism collaboration between Iran and Saudi Arabia, a comprehensive plan to formalize these interactions has not yet been established.
