TEHRAN – Ali Farhadi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Education, said the school could be used as a shelter. He told Isna that the school would provide an area where it would be applied as shelter following the Zionist regime’s airstrikes. However, he added that the Governor’s Office should also cooperate in this regard.
“The school has water, electricity, gas and the necessary equipment. The Governor’s Department, Governor’s Office, Local Governments and Rural Areas will also support the Ministry of Education in this regard.”
He said that the education departments of each state are subject to the governor’s order and that if special conditions arise, the governor will make a decision and the education department will accompany him.
The spokesman said it is certainly necessary but impossible to use all school competency for this task, saying, “If necessary, the school competency can be used. The state and city surveys will be conducted, and education departments in each state coordinate with the crisis management governor.”
If necessary, the governor will make decisions and the education department will also accompany them to provide appropriate services, he added.
He also said, “If schools are used as emergency or shelter, everyone should definitely be able to provide good service with the help of the Ministry of Education.
