In his keynote speech at the two meetings above, XI will elaborate on China’s new vision and proposition for SCO to advance the spirit of Shanghai, take on the mission of the times, and respond to the expectations of the people, Liu said.
XI will also announce new measures and initiatives by China to support the development of high quality SCO and comprehensive cooperation, and propose new methods and pathways to constructively protect the international order after World War II and improve the global governance system, Liu added.
According to officials, XI will jointly sign with leaders of other SCO member states, issue declarations, approve SCO development strategies for the next decade, issue a publication statement to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the world’s anti-fascist war and the UN’s 80th anniversary, and adopt a series of results documents to enhance security, the economy, and popular people and flock cooperation.
