Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem will give a speech on Sunday on Lebanon Resistance and Liberation Day, according to the Al Manar English website.
At the beginning of his speech, Qassem said, “The Day of Resistance and Liberation crowned Lebanese heights in this region and in the world.”
“The day of resistance and liberation made weak Lebanon a powerful nation,” he added.
According to the Hezbollah leader, “Israel tried to impose a May 17 agreement, but popular state resistance hampered it. ”
“Since 1982, the Israelites have realized that they are unable to settle on Lebanon’s territory,” he said, “The “Israel” tried to impose another agreement, but Lebanon refused, and the occupying forces left their collaborators behind them and fled at night.”
“This is a huge victory for those of resistance and sacrifice who were able to crush ‘Israel’ by an unconditional withdrawal from South Lebanon,” he said.
“The liberation of Southern Lebanon has moved us from frustration to hope, which has changed the course of the region politically and culturally,” Qassem added.
“After the liberation of Southern Lebanon, resistance became a fundamental component of Lebanon,” the Hezbollah chief continued, adding that “resistance is a natural solution to protecting the country when the Army cannot do so.”
“Israel’s ability to expand into Lebanon is over. The era of victory has brought about a change in Palestine, which places its enemy on the path to extinction,” continued Sheikh Qassem.
“Resistance is for defensive purposes and is about rejection of occupation and refusal to surrender,” he added.
“Israel” must withdraw from Lebanon, stop the invasion and release prisoners,” the Hezbollah leader also pointed out.
“The United States is responsible for sponsoring Israeli attacks in Lebanon and Gaza.”
The great Yemeni model stood by Gaza and Palestine, forcing the United States to retreat, and Kasem continued to say.
“If the state is unable to perform its duties, there are other options at the table,” the Hezbollah leader emphasized.
“The United States violates Lebanon’s sovereignty, and what ‘Israel’ could not achieve during the war can now be achieved,” Qassem continued.
“The situation in Israel is not satisfied. No one can threaten us,” he further insisted.
“It’s a victory or martial, and we’re completely ready,” pointed out the Hezbollah leader.
“High voter turnout is important, and the Southern crowd regained memories of liberation in 2000,” he concluded about the recent local elections in Lebanon.
