QUDS Base, the IRGC ground force, along with operatives from the Intelligence Report Agency, reported that on Wednesday morning it had three joint operations in the cities of Iranshaal, Kash and Saraban, carrying out three joint operations in Sistan and Balchestan provinces.
Several terrorists were killed and many other terrorists were arrested amid clashes with terrorist groups, according to the statement.
On Tuesday, Major General Mohammad Musavi, chief of staff in Iran, had a telephone conversation with former sifd, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS).
During the conversation, Musabi pointed out with concern over the recent increase in terrorist activity on both sides of the Iran-Pakistan border.
General Musabi stressed that Iran is ready to fully cooperate with Pakistan to eradicate terrorism, adding, “We hope that practical action will be taken against terrorist groups within this bilateral cooperation framework.”
While acknowledging past steps by Pakistan, he said these efforts must be expanded and existing shortcomings must be addressed.
The Iranian commander emphasized that Tehran and Islamabad share the same views on border security, and that the frontier should be a “border of friendship, brotherhood and economic development.” He expressed confidence that this goal can be achieved through joint efforts.
