Iran’s first vice president arrived in Bandar Abbas on Tuesday to visit the families of one of the injured and two victims of the explosion and fire at Shahid Rajay Port, where he sat with his family and listed their remarks.
At the meeting, he expressed his sadness and hoped for a quick recovery to the injured.
He further expressed his gratitude to all rescuers and to all rescuers and personnel involved in eradicating the fire, highlighting the need to compensate the victims for the loss.
He emphasized that investigation into possible causes of the tragic incident will continue, and promised to bring the perpetrators who may have played a role in the case to trial and prosecute them.
It rocked a powerful explosion on April 26th at Shahid Rajae Port in Hormozgan’s province after the fuel tanker exploded for reasons still under investigation.
The crisis director for Hormozgan state said the number of deaths from the incident has increased by 70.
