Tehran – A Persian translation of the book “The Art of Choosing,” written by Sheena Ayengal, was released in the Iranian book market.
The book was translated by Sepideh Reisi and published by Bidgol Publishing House on 363 pages, Mehr reported.
Originally published in 2010, this work is a non-fiction work that explores many aspects of the chosen one: the foundations of the human condition. It delves into how people play the role of choice and choice in our personal and professional lives.
Drawing from research in psychology, behavioral economics and neuroscience, Iyengar explores the complexities behind decision-making processes and provides insight into how choices shape our lives, our world, and our future.
The book also reflects how cultural and environmental factors influence our choices, and argues that understanding these factors can help us make better decisions.
Iyengar asks difficult questions about how and why we choose. Why do we sometimes oppose our best interests? How much do you really control what we choose?
How can we minimize the impact of such powerful factors, such as bias and culture? Is it possible to retrain your intuition? How do you balance the balance between the intestines and the competing forces of reason to make better decisions? The “art of choice” answers these questions and raises more.
Iyengar’s award-winning research reveals that the answer is incredible depth. In our world that transforms political and cultural forces, technological revolutions, and interconnected commerce, our decisions have widespread consequences.
Sheena Iyengar is a world expert on choice and decision making. She is a Sentry Business Professor at Columbia University and is a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award.
