TEHRAN – Handicraft houses in Sistan Balchestan’s Cultural Heritage Department are set to be launched in Tehran and several other Iranian metropolitan cities, said Deputy Minister of Handicrafts Mariam Jalali de Dekordi.
At the inauguration ceremony, opening the first Cistanbaru Chestan Handicraft market in Zahedan on September 28th, she said: A state to the world with its authentic stories and its exquisite art and crafts. ”
She added: “Sistan Balkestan has so many capabilities that it can also help to improve the situation in Iran. Iran has great potential and this province is rich and unique in all areas. There is no effort to introduce, strengthen or promote these capabilities and art.”
Certainly, cultural diplomacy and communication, collaboration with neighboring countries, is effective on this route, she says, “I ask you to accompany your neighboring countries, friends and siblings and continue walking with us as we strengthen this path.”
Jalali-Dehkordi states, “Establishing a permanent site to establish a permanent site to showcase the spectacular works of Sistan-Baluchestan handicrafts in the country’s capital is one of the demands of responsibility for the Sistan-Baluchestan Cultural Heritage Division and other trustees and craftsmen’s personnel. Iranian metropolitan cities can quickly resolve any negligence that occurred in introducing this vast province and play our part in this issue.
She said: “We hope that the efforts made in the Cistanbarchestan Cultural Heritage sector will soon be able to have a comprehensive document for the development and progress of the state based on an identity-based economy, including cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts.”
Jalali continues. “The launch and inauguration of the first Sistan-Baluchestan Handicrafts Markets has transformed the long-standing dreams of many of the state’s artisans into reality. We intend to maintain the honor, status and status of the state’s artisans even more than before in this permanent market.
Sistan Balsestan, located in southeastern Iran, is renowned for its rich and diverse cultural heritage, particularly its traditional handicrafts.
One of the region’s most notable crafts is needlework, which often draws flowers and geometric patterns. This craft is practiced primarily by women, retaining important cultural importance, and is often passed down over generations.
