During the celebration of the Liberation Day in the Netherlands, someone in the crowd threw a flare at the feet of the Polish Prime Minister as Donald Tass and his Dutch Dick Schoff sometimes illuminated the so-called “flame of liberation.” The head of the Polish government was quickly removed from the stage, UNN reported.
On May 5th, Donald Tass participated in celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Dutch liberation, dedicated to the end of the German occupation.
During the ceremony, a flare fell at the feet of the Polish prime minister, who was thrown by someone in the crowd. Some of them held posters criticizing the war in the Gaza Strip. Tusk was quickly removed from the stage.
The publication points out that the incident may have been directed to the Polish Prime Minister. At the same time, during the part before the ceremony, Dutch Defense Minister Reuben Breckelmann spoke, some people yelled pro-Palestinian slogans. Dutch media reported five arrests.
