Talking about the bystanding the 29th International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition, called the “Iran Oil Show 2025”, Gorama Bass Hosseini discussed investment opportunities at the event, saying, “The Southpurs Complex, as the largest gas facility in the Middle East, produces almost 600 MCMs and 600 MCMs every day. Refinery.”
He highlighted the company’s important economic role in generating foreign currency through the sale of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), highlighting key investment opportunities in the production of its first gas industrial equipment during the exhibition, particularly in rotors, compressors and turbines.
Hosseini cited last year’s achievements. This included quick and consecutive installations of two turbines, increasing the production of the 13th refinery by 12 million cubic meters daily. The new capacity of the Jam Gas refinery also allows extraction from the Kangan field, significantly supporting winter supply, setting a production record of over 3.5 billion cubic meters since 1402.
In his plans for the future, he said: “This year we began a major overhaul in March. Our first maintenance started this early on with a clear, pre-announced schedule.”
The CEO hopes that the overhaul will be completed by October 2025, allowing it to increase production of 10 million cubic meters daily via the expanded power of the 13th refinery.
