Al Jazeera reported on Saturday that a forum on Israeli war crimes in Palestine opened in Barcelona, Spain.
The two-day forum, called the International People’s Tribunal on Palestine, aims to investigate war crimes committed by Israel and its supporters, including testimony from witnesses and experts.
Organized by the International Federation of Popular Struggles, the International Popular Front, and the People’s Union for Food Sovereignty, the forum will “present evidence from key witnesses and experts to expose the extent of the Zionist occupation forces’ genocidal use of ecocide and forced starvation against the Palestinian people.”
It also says it seeks to demonstrate “the complicit role of the United States and its sponsors of the crimes of occupation, including the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, and of so-called civilian organizations such as the United States and the Zionist-led Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.”
