TEHRAN – Mariam Jalali Dékordi, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage, has made the news that a special support package will be compiled and implemented to ease the production and export of Isfahan handicrafts.
At a rally on Friday around the participation of Governor Isfahan, Majlis, High Manager, Isfahan Artisan Governor, Majlis and Artisans, she also issued the news that she would form a specialized working group to eliminate obstacles in the field of export, especially under the supervision of the commander of Isfahan Governoral, precious metals such as silver.
She explained that important ratifications have been implemented to support Isfahan production and export within 48 hours following intensive meetings with artisans, senior state and state managers. The silver export assessment will be carried out in Isfahan, she said.
Based on agreement with technical occupational organizations, Top Handycraft Masters will be exempt from repeated testing, she said, adding that the new facility will be considered for tax training and related exemptions.
Jalali-Dehkordi called for approval of craftsmen’s insurance, taxes and financial facilities as other ratifications of the collection.
Pointing to the active role of international organizations and target markets, she said that Magillis lawmakers and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have entered a scene of cooperation with the embassy, selling handicrafts from neighboring countries.
She said the measures taken in Isfahan are a major step towards removing the historical challenges facing state handicrafts.
She concluded that the implementation of this support package will allow Isfahan to take measures integrated into training, production, display and export as a fantastic museum and workshop of Iranian handicrafts.
