TEHRAN – Hamshari looked into the special features of Iranian and US negotiations in an interview with Mohsen Pakain, a former Iranian diplomat.
He said: One feature of this series of nuclear negotiations is the consensus among all state agencies regarding “indirect negotiations” with the United States. In such a situation, this consensus is broken, and even at the head of state level, they are trying to create bipolarity in the country. Decisions on the subject of negotiations are based on expertise, and the key point is that they are participating in negotiations from superior positions, as they emphasized that they will only negotiate on nuclear issues. Negotiations must be “indirect.” And we decided on the venue for the lecture. They wanted negotiations to take place in the UAE, but in the end, Oman, our preferred option, was chosen as the venue for the lecture. So, the key point is that we are witnessing examples of “diplomacy and operational levels” adjustments. These are specific features of the Iranian-US negotiations during this discussion.
Arman-e Melli: Tayebnia returns to Cabinet as Minister of Economic Affairs
In a report entitled “Will Tavenia Returns to Pasteur,” Ahman et Meli said it is unclear whether Ali Tavenia will be appointed Minister of Economy. Initially, Pezeshkian introduced Abdolnaser Hemmati as the Minister of Economic Affairs in Congress, but his tenure was short-lived. Hemati was the first minister to face ammunition each in the government sitting on March 2nd. Several candidates have been proposed for the position, including Kamal Taghvinia and Shamseddin hosseinih. However, Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah said on Saturday that after extensive expert reviews and multiple meetings, a list of qualified individuals has been proposed to the president for his position. He said Tayebnia was at the top of the list. He added that the proposal is based on Tavenia’s knowledge, experience, and abilities in economics, and his successful track record during his previous tenure in ministry. The Vice President emphasized that “the final decision on this issue depends on the President himself,” and said that the President is keen to nominate experts with experience and clear plans to improve the country’s economic situation, and that he follows this issue with a certain sensitivity.”
Iran: FATF approval to promote investment
In the commentary, the Iranian newspaper emphasized the need to approve the FATF, writing: Iran has become a member of the BRICS and Shanghai organizations, providing a large market. The economy should be able to make co-investment and focus on building joint projects with other countries, rather than one-way relationships. It has not been economically generated in connection with Shanghai and BRICS member states. Companies, investors and governments in these countries are extremely cautious about economic interactions with Iranians. This caution made Iran’s membership pointless. These countries say, “We may be subject to restrictions imposed by organizations such as the FATF for cooperation with Iran.” Therefore, if the member states of these two blocs find a safer place, they refuse to cooperate with us. If the FATF problem is resolved, we hope that it will greatly promote the investment situation and interaction of other countries with Iran.
Ham Mihan: Benjamin Netanyahu’s sabotage
In his explanation, Ham Mihan has called Netanyahu as the main opponent of any agreement between Iran and the United States, and the Zionist Prime Minister is the main opponent of any agreement with Iran. He wants complete destruction of the nuclear program and the military capabilities that could be used against this administration. Therefore, Netanyahu considers not only the nuclear program, but also the support of Iran’s missile capabilities and resistance groups as existential threats to his administration, calling for the elimination of all of them. The military victories of Gaza, Lebanon and Syria encouraged Netanyahu. He has yet to expressly oppose Trump’s idea of negotiating and reaching an agreement with Iran, but he will definitely use all available means to hamper consultations with the US.
