Speaking at the first conference on the ranking of small and medium-sized enterprises held at the IRIB International Conference Center on Monday, Foreign Minister Aref pointed out the cruel sanctions imposed by the United States on the country and emphasized that the Iranian state is the main target of the cruel sanctions.
He said small and medium-sized enterprises play an unparalleled role in the country’s industrial progress and development and can be the founders of large-scale economic enterprises.
Turning to the 12-day war imposed by Israel against Iran, the Vice President noted that during this period, small and medium-sized enterprises played a leading role in that there was positive growth in the country’s industrial sector.
He praised the efforts and hard work of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade over the past 15 months despite the challenges.
The First Vice President emphasized the important role of small and medium-sized enterprises in the country’s economy, stressing that small and medium-sized enterprises can make significant progress in realizing most of the country’s economic goals.
He further said that SMEs have a high potential to create more employment opportunities for job seekers in the country.
