A child was killed and four other civilians were injured in conjunction with the regime of Syria, Hayat Tahri al-Sham (HTS) by extremists.
Lebanon’s official national news agency reported that the Rockets, fired from Syrian territory, have landed at QASR, the village of Lebanon, near the border.
Lebanon’s Al Mayaden’s television news channel said a rocket launched by HTS extremists had hit the home in the Hawdh Al-Assi district.
A child was killed and four other individuals were injured in artillery fire.
This was followed by Lebanese Army Reconnaissance drones patrolling the skies in the Elmel area and border areas near Syria.
A Lebanese security source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said tensions began after three Syrian extremists crossed Lebanese territory in Qasr’s village.
Sources said it is unclear why they came in.
Syrian HTS regime on Sunday accused Lebanon Hezbollah of accusing three soldiers of acquiring them to Lebanon and killing them there. The resistance campaign has completely rejected the allegation.
Hezbollah denies involvement in border conflicts
In a statement, Hezbollah denied any clashes with HTS forces or involvement in Syrian territory.
The group said it “resolutely denys any relations with events taking place today at the Lebanon-Syrian border.”
It added, “We reaffirm our previous announcement that Hezbollah has nothing to do with any event within Syrian territory.”
The Lebanese National News Agency later reported that the bodies of three Syrian extremists had been handed over to Syria via the Lebanese Red Cross.
More than 10 people were injured last month after fired the guns last month after targeting a border town in Lebanon’s Elmel region from the countryside of Syria’s Qusayr.
Amidst rising tensions, Lebanon President Joseph Aung and Syrian de facto leader Abu Mohamed al-Jollani agreed to coordinate efforts to stabilize the border and prevent attacks on civilians in a call Friday.
