Tehran – Organizers of the 36th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) have formally invited publishers, cultural institutions, organizations, associations, publishing groups, literary institutions, and other cultural actors involved in registering internationally.
Registration begins on March 4th and continues until the deadline of March 18th, and stakeholders are encouraged to visit the exhibition’s official website TIBF.IR to review the terms and conditions of the contract for the International Section of the 36th Tehran International Book Fair.
The International Section aims to better showcase the capabilities of Iran’s publishing industry, strengthen cultural exchanges on a global scale, promote professional connections between Iran and foreign publishers, and address challenges and solutions for the development of international publishing.
Furthermore, the International Section provides a platform for international interaction between countries and highlights the possibilities of the national publishing sector. Therefore, embassies, representative offices, and foreign institutions are also invited to visit the Book Fair website to learn about the terms of participation in their country and register accordingly.
The 36th Tehran International Book Fair (TIBF) is scheduled to be held at Imam Khomeinimosala in Tehran from May 7th to 17th.
The slogan “Let’s Read for Iran” was chosen for this edition of this book fair.
The cultural event has become an important book fair in West Asia landmarks for 35 consecutive editions. Millions of visitors inspect the fair each year, including thousands of university students, academics and their families.
The event now serves as Iran’s most important cultural event. On an average, 2,500 domestic publishers and 600 foreign publishers take part in the landmark event. Foreign publishers essentially provide material in English or Arabic, but titles in French, German, Chinese, Korean or Japanese are also available.
