“Following the US President’s letter to the leader of the Islamic Revolution and his declaration that he is ready to choose a diplomatic path to resolve the unnecessary and artificial crisis created over Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, we entered into an indirect dialogue with the United States, with a well-intentioned, supportive approach based on the support of national authorities and trusts.
“In three rounds of speech, Iranian negotiators explained the Iranian state’s position and demands based on the country’s principled approach and end of oppressive sanctions in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy, and worked diligently to arrive at a fair, rational and sustainable understanding,” the declaration wrote.
“We will not tolerate approaches based on threats and pressure, highlighting our commitment to the path of diplomatic relations and declaring preparations to continue negotiations. All of these are designed to violate the UN Charter and the principles of the international law, harm Iran’s national interests and violate Iran’s human rights,” he said.
“In this regard, we strongly condemn the continued sanctions and pressure on Iran’s trade and economic partners, and we consider it another indication that Iran’s deep distrust and doubt about the seriousness of America in the path of diplomacy is justified,” he added.
Continuing these illegal activities will not change Iran’s position under logical, legal and international law. Without a doubt, trying again with failed methods and tactics would only result in repeated failures that are the same costly, the ministry said.
