The second political council was held between Iran and Mongolia after a seven-year break chaired by the Director-General of the Ministry of Asia and Pacific, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Ali Asgal and Mohammadi.
During the meeting, Mohammadi considered the latest state of cooperation between the two countries, political, economic, cultural and international, and welcomed the expansion of cooperation within the framework of multilateralism, regional and international organizations.
The Secretary of State of Mongolia’s Foreign Ministry announced on his part that he is pleased with the increase in trade cooperation between the two countries over the past two years and is ready to strengthen cooperation and plan an exchange delegation at the same time as the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026.
